Documentary and Trauma Course
Documentary and Trauma is a unique course for therapists, born from the understanding that trauma no longer exists only in the clinical setting but crosses spaces: public, educational, and digital. In Israel, following the events of recent years, a deep change in the therapeutic toolkit is required - one that speaks the language of the present and integrates clinical depth, documentation, and technology. The project offers an innovative approach that combines evidence-based trauma therapy with tools from the world of documentary and video - not as illustration but as a complete therapeutic methodology
Through work with filmed narrative, reflection, documentary interview, and visual mirroring, the therapist and patient together create meaning, strengthen the sense of control, and build resilience. The uniqueness lies in the connection of two separate disciplines into one practical method, allowing a transition from passivity to activity and a rewriting of the traumatic story, while maintaining ethics, sensitivity, and professional precision. The project is designed for therapists working with trauma, loss, and life crises, and offers practical tools with genuine potential for personal and social change.
Impact & Special Projects
Approach develops narrative-based impact projects, at the intersection of trust, resilience, and social change.
Engineering Resilience and Addressing Addictions
In the post-traumatic reality of Israel after October 7, addiction has moved from a personal crisis to a strategic threat to national resilience. Approach leads a multi-arena process of deep perceptual change, dismantling the stigma and replacing it with a new belief system of recovery and growth. We do not only document reality we engineer the infrastructure for its rehabilitation, through a combination of powerful documentary content, digital strategy, and practical field activity
The Narrative Axis (Documentary Method): Producing a documentary-practical television series that exposes the "12 Steps" method. This is a strategic tool that makes cognitive recovery tools accessible to the broad consensus, while turning personal testimony into a national model for emulation.
The Impact Axis (Field Activity): Making a practical toolkit accessible to managers, institutions, and communities. Integrating top-tier addiction experts in building organizational resilience programs that understand that stabilizing mental health is the key to both business and national stability.
Television and digital are not only platforms for information distribution but mechanisms for calibrating public consciousness. Our goal is to transform the painful truth of addiction into a strategic asset of resilience, growth, and national healing.
End of the Age of Innocence: Education Against Radicalization
An international campaign to combat radicalization, combining documentary cinema, digital activity, education, and policy influence to address indoctrination at the root and promote de-radicalization
Based on the documentary series School of Terror by Yifat Kedar (Kan 11) and rare archival material filmed over 20 years in Palestinian schools and Hamas summer camps, the initiative offers a unique international project. The project combines a global digital campaign, a practical educational program, and an international conference in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Terrorism Policy and Reichman University. The initiative exposes how radicalization is built through education and digital spaces, and in parallel offers practical tools for prevention, critical thinking, and de-radicalization. Its goal is not only awareness-raising but influencing policy, changing education systems, and breaking cycles of violence through education that promotes responsibility, resilience, and choice
